Vettel annoyed after Norris crash: 'Masi won't be proud'

Sebastian Vettel showed his best side during qualifying by stopping at the wreckage of Lando Norris who crashed heavily at Radillon. However, the German was not happy with the work of race director Michael Masi during the qualifying session at Spa-Francorchamps.
Session should not have started
"I think Michael is not proud of what happened," opens an exasperated Vettel at Sky Sports F1. According to Vettel, it's easy to talk about it afterwards for the race committee. "He is not captain hindsight. When I went down Eau Rouge and arrived at the top there was a lot of standing water. There are lots of things we can do. It could've have been a different outcome for Lando."
According to Vettel, the red flag should have been waved at an earlier point. "It's always difficult to judge, but I think the red flag should have been waved earlier. You can't see much from the garage, only TV footage. But if you know that the marshals are reporting that there is too much rain and water, then the light shouldn't go green," the Aston Martin driver concluded.
Norris taken to hospital as a precaution
Norris slammed the back of his car into the tyre wall, ending his qualifying run. Vettel was first on the scene and did not drive away before getting a thumbs up from Norris. The young Briton was taken to hospital where he will have some X-rays taken of his elbow, just to be on the safe side.
