Marko smiles at footage of Verstappen: "Unprecedented how late he braked"

Helmut Marko can't stop talking about 'his' star driver Max Verstappen, after his impressive performance during the Grand Prix of Mexico. When watching the footage of the start, the Austrian is visibly proud.
At the start, Verstappen had to come from third. In doing so, he not only positioned himself extremely well for the overtaking manoeuvre that was coming up, but he also braked much later than his rivals. "It's unprecedented how late Max brakes. It was unbelievable," the Red Bull Racing advisor told ServusTV.
More breathing space for Red Bull
Marko says he can breathe a sigh of relief after Verstappen's win, but he would like to see a slightly wider margin. "We have extended our lead in the championship, but now we need to win again in Brazil. Then I will be even more relaxed," he continued.
"The difference in the constructors' championship is just one point, but Max's fight for the world title among the drivers is much more important," Marko concludes.
