Timo Glock reckons Mercedes will have a tough weekend in Brazil. The Interlagos circuit traditionally seems to suit the Red Bull car better and Max Verstappen is in fine form. The German analyst believes that the Austrian formation of Christian Horner and Helmut Marko have everything back in hand.

Verstappen's victory in Mexico increased his lead over Lewis Hamilton by seven points. The difference has now increased to 19 points. This weekend in Brazil there are a maximum of 29 points to be gained by the best driver: 25 points for the GP victory, one point for the fastest race lap Sunday and three points for winning the sprint race.

"[After Mexico] you could see relatively clearly: Verstappen's win has left deep marks on Mercedes. The question is whether they can turn it around here. I have my question marks there at the moment. I think Red Bull also has it in their own hands again," Glock said in front of the camera of the German branch of Sky.

Rumours of Hamilton grid penalty

It's being said and written from many sources that Hamilton will have to change his internal combustion engine again this weekend. This would result in a grid penalty, which would make a victory for Verstappen even more likely. For the time being, Mercedes don't say anything about it.
