Confirm: Stewards announce decision on Christian Horner after FIA remarks
- GPblog.com
The stewards are quicker off the mark than we've been used to lately. Christian Horner had to report because of his comments about the FIA and the marshals, which according to the Red Bull Racing team boss were jointly responsible for the grid penalty of Max Verstappen.
Horner receives warning from FIA
Horner apologised in case he had offended anyone with his remarks, but explained that the statements were made in the heat of the moment. The stewards accepted his explanation and his apologies to the marshals and gave the Briton an official warning.
Helmut Marko also had a devastating opinion of the FIA, claiming that the organisation did not have the marshals under control. Whether he too will have to report to the stewards is not yet known.
Official warning for Horner.

"He explained his reaction was one that was made under the pressure of competition following the penalty imposed on the driver of Car 33" and "offered to apologise to the marshal concerned and to explain to the media that he meant no offense."#F1
