- Corwin Kunst
Slowly but surely, McLaren is creeping towards Ferrari and Red Bull Racing in the battle for the constructors' world championship. Thanks to third and fourth places from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, 27 points were scored, more than any other team at Silverstone.
Mercedes looked to take home hefty points with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell starting from the front row of the grid. Thanks to the latter's win, the German formation scored 25 points, but it could have been a lot more had Russell not had to retire his car with technical problems. Red Bull scored 18 points thanks to Verstappen, while Ferrari earned 10 points after Carlos Sainz's fifth-place finish.
