Red Bull Racing has signed yet another new sponsor. Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson's team has entered into a partnership with 1Password, a cyber security company. According to Red Bull, this is a multi-year deal.
Not only will Red Bull Racing be using the company's services, the 1Password name can be seen prominently on the RB21; on the halo, chassis and on the steering wheel of Verstappen and Lawson. A picture from Red Bull Racing shows what the new steering wheel with the logo will look like.
The company's name will also be clearly visible on the clothing of the pit crew, the team and in the garage. With regards to the financial amount the deal is for, it has not yet been disclosed, but given the huge exposure 1Password will get, it can be assumed that the sponsorship is substantial.
Horner knows the importance of not leaking data
Team boss Christian Horner knows the importance of having a party to ensure that sensitive, digital information does not get into the wrong hands. "Everyone at Oracle Red Bull Racing is excited to welcome 1Password to the Red Bull family as our exclusive Cybersecurity Partner. As the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season approaches, it is critical that our entire organization has secure, trusted access to critical information so we can continue to make confident, data-driven decisions trackside and back at the factory in Milton Keynes," says the Briton.
