Sebastian Vettel stood out during the Miami Opening Party The shirt he was wearing caught the eye. It was not the colors of Aston Martin, but a shirt with a statement about the climate with which the German entered the stage.

Vettel has been increasingly preoccupied with things beyond Formula One in recent years. The German still loves racing, but is also aware of the platform he has as a four-time world champion to share his view of the world. The climate is an important issue for the Aston Martin driver.

Vettel shows himself

This was again evident during the team presentation prior to the Miami Grand Prix. Where every driver appeared in the colors of his team, Vettel had put on his own shirt. It was a shirt with a helmet under water with a snorkel attached. In doing so, it pointed to the rising water level.

Vettel's shirt also had text on it. At the top it said Miami 2060, with the caption, 'The first Grand Prix underwater. Take action now or swim later'. Vettel made no further statements about his shirt, but he did get the spotlight back on himself and the climate with this action.
