Verstappen points to Red Bull's areas of improvement: 'That was just worthless'

Max Verstappen did win the Miami Grand Prix, but the Dutchman is not yet completely satisfied. At the post-race press conference, he is also critical of his team and points out areas for improvement.
Critical of Red Bull
With 26 points, Verstappen leaves the United States with the maximum score and that in a weekend where things didn't even run perfectly. Verstappen had a lot of problems on Friday, which meant he didn't even get into action during the second free practice. Verstappen points to those problems, but also to those of his teammate in the race.
''We're still having a few issues we have to solve. I mean we are quick, but as you can see, my Friday was terrible, you know, which is not great if you want to have a good weekend. And also Checo had a few issues in the race, so we have to be on top of that, but clearly there is a lot of potential, we just need to make sure it's reliable," said the reigning world champion.
Bad luck for Verstappen
Verstappen is particularly disappointed with the bad luck he had on Friday. According to him it made his weekend more difficult than it should have been and it could also have gone wrong just like that. For example, Verstappen had not been able to practice the start at all and it could have turned out differently on Sunday.
"We just have to nail down a really positive weekend without issues. I think of course, Imola, we had that, but it's still a bit of a hit and miss too much. So we just have to make sure that we are more reliable and more on top of things Verstappen then confirmed that he did not have the same problems as Perez in the race: ''I think I had all my bad luck on Friday," said the Red Bull driver.
