Drivers present at F1 press conference for Australia GP

The Formula 1 season is about to start once again with the first race of the season this weekend in Australia. Ahead of the on-track practice sessions on Friday, some of the drivers will speak with the media on Thursday. Find out who will attend the press conferences below. 

Doohan and Piastri to attend home race press conference

For their home race, Australians Jack Doohan and Oscar Piastri will both attend the first press conference session on Thursday. While Piastri is going into his third season racing in Formula 1 and has recently signed an extension with McLaren, Doohan is set to race in his first full season for Alpine after debuting at the end of the 2024 season in Abu Dhabi. Attending alongside Doohan and Piastri will be the reigning World Champion Max Verstappen

Later on Thursday, Lewis Hamilton, Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Carlos Sainz will also be interviewed at the press conference. On Friday, it will then be time for the Team Principal press conference. Frederic Vasseur of Ferrari, Andy Cowell of Aston Martin and James Vowles of Williams will join the media session on Friday afternoon.
